The section Diagnostics and ECU Platform, part of Electrical System Design, is providing solutions for the electronic platform and the diagnostic system, used by all electronic control units in the car, often referred to as base tech.
The group COM / DIAGNOSTIC are responsible for vehicle wired/wireless communication links and diagnostics. The team is a core competence center within our working area.
We are looking for a skilled engineer which will act as a technical project leader for wired communication links (primarily Ethernet) and diagnostic projects.
As a technical project leader you will lead us through cross functional projects (both internal and external projects). Your role will contain lead project members to follow time schedules, follow project deliveries and report project status from technical timing and quality perspectives. You will also need to contribute on a technical level as a base tech engineer (deep technical level).
Main Responsibilities: - Lead development of base tech projects and ensure high quality from all project partners. - Ensure that agreed deliverables are delivered - Drive team’s activities according to project objectives - Establish time schedules and follow up costs. - Additionally, join the base tech team, and support us with investigations in new exiting technologies for tomorrow.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor degree or higher from Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or similar. - Agile Project Management skills (more than 5 years’ experience) - Fluent in English (written and spoken), Driving license (B) valid in Sweden
Desirably Qualifications: - Knowledge and certified with a Six-sigma belt - Experience from software development (C++, Ansi C) - Experience using JIRA software - Knowledge on Ethernet (Physical layer up to Application layer according to OSI model ISO/IEC 7498
